The VT-16 works in conjunction with a wireless receiver that needs to be attached to the display (television or computer).

To attach to a television, the Morse Wireless Receiver (WR-10) comes with a RCA video output jack and must be attached to the television through the video input.

There are several ways to attach to a computer. The one we offer, is to attach the Morse Wireless Receiver (WR-10) through an internal or external video capture card installed in the computer. The minimum system requirements for a computer are:

  • USB 2.0 equipped computer
  • Pentium III 500 mhz or above
  • 128 MB of RAM
  • Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP/VISTA
Once the otoscope, receiver and display (television or computer) is powered ‘on,’ the otoscope will transmit the image to the display in real-time. The image will then be saved to the otoscope’s on-board memory (16 image memory). The images can then be saved by downloading to a computer via a video capture card.
